The Friends of the Portland Library proudly support and promote the Portland Library by informing town residents of resources and services the Library provides; by securing materials and sponsoring special projects for the Library; and, by encouraging donations to enhance cultural and educational opportunities afforded to the residents of Portland through the Library.
Second Hand Prose Book Shop

FPL has a large inventory of discarded Library books including mystery, general fiction, romance and biographies on sale for $0.25 each or 5 for $1.00
When visiting the Library, take an opportunity to browse the FPL Book Shop.
We have mysteries, general fiction, non-fiction, romance, young adult and children’s used books, as well as used DVDs and videos.
