Artist Receptions

The Library’s Mary Flood Room not only serves as the main venue for Town meetings and community groups, but also as the home of art shows by talented local artists. Recent shows include works by members of Brownstone Arts (a local artists’ group), railroad photographer and PHS teacher Stu Noelte and local watercolorist Richard Raicik.

FPL sponsors an Artist Reception for each art show. Beverages and homemade baked goods are served.

Scheduled Art Exhibits for 2026

September 8 - October 8: Portland X Portland 13 Portland photographers - Susan Anderson, Gabriela Andrew, Michael Beck, Dan Castelli, Beau Doherty, Chris Edie, Terry Grady, Chris Graham, Janet Lopes, Cara Mac, Lucinda Patrick, Sarah Weeden and Frank Winiski – will offer their perspectives of their hometown.

Reception: Saturday, September 12, 1:00-3:00
